Overview
We are seeking motivated and dependable crew members to join our Civil construction team. This position is responsible for the installation and construction of erosion control systems and other civil construction components. The ideal candidate will have experience working in outdoor construction environments, operating hand and power tools, reading construction plans, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.
The successful candidate will work closely with supervisors, equipment operators, and fellow crew members to complete projects on schedule and according to project specifications. This role requires frequent travel to project sites throughout Florida and the ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform tasks such as installation of silt fence and tree barricade, demolition, site cleaning, finish grading.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the State of Florida as needed
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required
Preferred, but not required
- Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of construction processes and safety procedures
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with schematics for equipment operation or troubleshooting
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools and heavy machinery

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
