Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Contract: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 18 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 35 Hours Guaranteed
Pay: Up to $52.00/hour
Total Gross Contract Earnings: Up to $31,500 for the full 18-week contract
Responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist with implementing patient treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
- Assist patients with mobility, functional activities, and rehabilitation goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Follow established clinical policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to support quality patient care.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license or certification as required in the state of California.
- At least 6 months pf previous PTA experience required .
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care.
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Weekly pay is based on the hourly rate and 35 guaranteed weekly hours.
