Medical Billing Analyst
Location: Wallingford, CT
Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Analyst to join our orthopaedic practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, payment posting, denial management, and charge capture, preferably within an orthopaedic or multi-specialty environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process electronic remittances and payment postings accurately.
- Research and resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies.
- Support reimbursement optimization.
- Assist with coding and charge capture for orthopaedic, physical therapy, and occupational therapy services.
- Utilize EMR systems to manage claims, patient accounts, and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience; orthopaedic experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, charge capture, payment posting, and denial management.
- Experience with EMR and billing systems; Epic experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
