We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ATLAS Paralegal to serve as a vital first point of contact for clients seeking legal assistance. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside dedicated attorneys and program leaders to ensure high-quality, compassionate legal support reaches those who need it most.
What You'll Do
As an ATLAS Paralegal, you will play a key role in connecting clients to critical legal services by:

Receiving and processing referrals for legal assistance

Conducting intake and initial client interviews with professionalism and empathy

Evaluating and organizing client information to determine eligibility for services

Collaborating with attorneys, program directors, and regional staff to ensure efficient case handling

Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of client interactions

Helping ensure every eligible client receives timely and appropriate legal support
Requirements:
We’re seeking candidates who are compassionate, organized, and knowledgeable about legal systems, especially as they impact underserved communities.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma (or equivalent)

At least 2 years of relevant experience

Working knowledge of:
- Legal principles and terminology
- Legal research methods
- Court systems and procedures
- Legal issues affecting low-income populations
Preferred (but not required):

Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate
