What You'll Do
- Support students with classroom activities and daily assignments
- Help students build independence with hygiene and self-care skills
- Work one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning goals
- Assist teachers in maintaining a positive, supportive classroom environment
- Support students during PT, OT, or speech therapy sessions as needed
- Encourage student engagement, participation, and confidence throughout the school day
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children is a plus
- Paraprofessional certification preferred but not required
- BLS certification preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, dependable, and supportive approach when working with students
