About Us
California Dermatology Institute has a fast-growing bedside dermatology department, specializing in delivering high-quality dermatologic care to patients in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living facilities (ALFs), and other long-term care settings. We are expanding our footprint and seeking a driven, hands-on leader to help build and scale our facility partnerships while ensuring excellence in clinical operations.
Position Summary
This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role responsible for both driving facility growth and supporting clinical operations at the bedside. The Chief Facility Coordinator will expand SNF/ALF partnerships while working directly alongside providers during rounds to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in both strategic and clinical environments and is comfortable taking ownership of execution in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan to expand dermatology services into SNFs and ALFs across target regions
- Build and maintain relationships with SNF administrators, regional operators, and healthcare decision-makers
- Represent the practice at meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities
- Work directly alongside providers during facility rounds, providing real-time medical scribing and documentation support
- Assist with coordination of medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care with facility staff and providers
- Conduct clinical documentation audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Oversee and support medical scribes, including training, workflow management, and quality assurance
- Lead facility onboarding and implementation, ensuring smooth operational rollout for new partnerships
- Act as a bridge between business development and clinical operations to ensure long-term success of facility relationships
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance provider productivity and patient outcomes
- Track KPIs, referral pipelines, and partnership performance, and report progress to leadership
- Maintain a strong understanding of the SNF/ALF landscape, including regulatory and operational challenges
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in healthcare business development, clinical operations, or related field
- Experience in SNFs, long-term care, or mobile/bedside healthcare strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and regulatory environments
- Experience with medical scribing, clinical documentation, or care coordination strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-facing clinical environment with high attention to detail
- Proven ability to build relationships and drive growth initiatives
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of both strategy and execution
- Willingness to travel regionally and spend significant time in facilities
Preferred
- Background in dermatology, geriatrics, or post-acute care
- Experience managing or training clinical support staff (e.g., scribes or MAs)
- Existing relationships with SNF or ALF networks

- Willingness to travel across several counties within Southern California: 100%

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
