Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and trailers to deliver freight efficiently and on time. Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
- Assist in the maintenance of trucks and trailers to keep equipment in optimal condition for safe operation.
Experience
- Proven experience as a professional truck driver with a focus on freight delivery across various vehicle types such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, or dump trucks.
- Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and safely.
- Prior experience with route driving and delivery logistics preferred.
- Familiarity with load & unload procedures for different freight types.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle types operated (e.g., tanker endorsement).
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations including forklift operation when applicable.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.90 per hour
