Marketing Database Development & Email Marketing Assistant

Gateway Commercial Finance is seeking a motivated and resourceful Marketing Database Development & Email Marketing Assistant to support our marketing and business development initiatives. This role will play a critical part in helping us identify and target potential customers, referral sources, and business partners nationwide.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, research-driven, tech-savvy, and capable of working independently while supporting ongoing marketing campaigns and outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct extensive online research to identify potential referral sources including bankers, attorneys, loan brokers, consultants, lenders and prospective customers within our target industries
- Develop, organize, and maintain marketing databases and contact lists
- Utilize various tools and databases to gather accurate contact information including names, company names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, and company details
- Verify and maintain the accuracy of existing contact lists and CRM data
- Segment and organize lists based on marketing and sales initiatives
- Manage and maintain email marketing lists and outreach databases
- Create and edit content for email marketing campaigns
- Assist with website content updates and marketing copy
- Support SEO and digital marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with management, marketing, and sales teams to support lead generation efforts
- Assist in the development and execution of outreach campaigns, including email marketing and follow-up initiatives
- Track outreach efforts and maintain organized reporting
Requirements
- Candidate MUST possess strong online research skills
- Candidate must work efficiently, intelligently, and independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, CRM systems, and general internet research
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms and website content management systems is a plus
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing concepts preferred
- Results-oriented mindset with persistence and follow-through
Compensation & Benefits
- Part-Time or Full-Time Position
- Starting salary between $38,400 and 47,360
- 5.00% bonus commission payable monthly on each closed lead generated (this can be significant). Thjs role is NOT SALES, simply marketing
