American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cath Lab position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active NM or compact RN license.

Cardiology Cath Lab unit in a regional medical center setting
-
Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
-
4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
-
On-call required: 1–2 weekends per month, approximately 8–10 days per month
-
No floating requirement
-
Active NM RN license or current compact state RN license required
-
BLS certification from the AHA required
-
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population served in a Cath Lab setting

US Social Security Number required for consideration

Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, develops individualized plans of care, and implements timely, evidence-based nursing interventions
-
Participates in patient and family health education and discharge planning
-
Coordinates team assignments and delegates patient care tasks appropriately
-
Performs Point of Care testing procedures

Supports orientation of new staff and students on the unit

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rates
