We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing practice!

The Schedule & Flexibility
We value a balanced work week and offer a structured, rotating schedule to give you consistent time off:
- Days: Monday through Saturday.
- Saturdays: Working two (2) Saturdays per month.
- The Perk: When you work a Saturday, you get an alternating day off during the week, ensuring you maintain a true full-time schedule without burnout.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures (bonding, adjustments, wire changes, and debonding).
- Take high-quality digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and digital impressions/scans.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, ensuring compliance with all OSHA and safety protocols.
- Educate patients (and parents!) on oral hygiene, rubber band compliance, and appliance care.
- Maintain accurate electronic patient records and treatment notes.
- Keep clinical chairs and inventory clean, stocked, and ready for action.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous dental or orthodontic assisting experience is highly preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude!
- Certifications: Active New York State dental assisting credentials and X-ray certification are a major plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, a gentle chairside manner, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Mindset: A team player who brings positive energy to the clinic every day.
