Job Summary
YOUXING CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING INC. is looking for a reliable and organized Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will assist with purchasing construction materials, tools, equipment, and other project-related supplies to support multiple job sites.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates well, and can work with both our U.S. team and our China team to ensure materials are purchased and delivered on time.
Responsibilities
- Request quotes from suppliers and compare pricing.
- Create and track purchase orders.
- Coordinate material deliveries and follow up on order status.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain purchasing records, supplier information, and order history.
- Work closely with project managers and the operations team to ensure materials arrive on time.
- Assist with sourcing new suppliers when needed.
- Monitor inventory of commonly used materials and office supplies.
- Use Microsoft Excel to maintain purchasing logs and reports.
- Perform other purchasing and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous purchasing, administrative, or office experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn.
- Experience in construction or building materials is a plus
