Ivy & Varley is looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent experience for our guests. Good bartending candidates will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers' needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly wages and tips.
Responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of cocktails, beers, and wine.
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders, serve drinks
- Listen customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails, both classics and house specialties
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Provide an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $36.00 per hour
