6am-6pm Tuesday-Thursday
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through active surveillance, access control, and incident prevention. Your presence will help deter threats, manage emergencies, and ensure compliance with security protocols. Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches.
- Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations by following established procedures, including fire safety protocols, first aid assistance, AED operation, and emergency response coordination.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and accuracy.
- Perform background checks on new employees or vendors as part of the screening process to ensure safety compliance.
- Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for security equipment or supplies.
- De-escalate conflicts using conflict management techniques and conflict de-escalation skills to maintain a safe environment for all individuals.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring official intervention.
- Enforce security regulations and policies diligently while providing excellent customer service to visitors and staff.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and implementing preventative measures.
Qualifications
- experience in physical security roles such as military service, law enforcement, or previous security guard positions.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), access control systems, and alarm monitoring tools.
- Certification in first a(Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform manual han safely and efficiently.

Pay: $18.00 - $18.01 per hour
