TITLE: Marketing Coordinator
HOURS: Part-Time (20-24 hours/week Tuesday – Thursday)
PAY RATE: $25 per hour

The Marketing Assistant will play a critical role in portraying The Nonantum in its best light and utilizing creative strategies to attract new business.
ABOUT THE JOB:

Receive and triage routine marketing requests

Continually update website content and maintain functionality of website, address non-functional webpages, broken links, etc. expediently

Update menus, flyers, tent cards, posters, room materials, etc. using established brand standards

Coordinate printing, copying, laminating, cutting, binding, etc.

Maintain an organized library of current marketing materials and templates, including photos and Canva designs
-
Replace dated materials throughout the property timely

Keep event information, hours, amenities, etc. listed on website current

Maintain local tourism calendars updated with events and live music
-
Manage routine ad submissions for local publications

Draft or format simple social content using established brand guidelines

Monitor comments/messages on social media and flag anything requiring escalation

Create simple promotional pieces from templates

Assist with routine scheduling, updates, and setup for seasonal activities and events in FareHarbor, Resy, and Eventbrite

Prepare files according to provided specifications (print or digital)
ABOUT YOU:
-
1+ year of experience in marketing, communications, administrative, or other detail-oriented support role; hospitality experience strongly preferred

Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to keep track of multiple projects, deadlines, and moving pieces

Comfortable working independently, prioritizing requests, and knowing when to ask questions or seek guidance

Strong written communication skills and a keen eye for grammar, accuracy, and consistency

Comfortable working with websites, Canva, social media, and other digital tools; eager to learn new platforms and systems

Able to follow established brand standards while producing polished, professional materials

Resourceful and solutions-oriented when something needs to be fixed, updated, printed, tracked down, or figured out

Comfortable coordinating with people across departments and communicating clearly about deadlines and expectations

Able to handle routine, sometimes repetitive tasks with care and consistency

A helpful, service-oriented approach and the ability to respond professionally and calmly when priorities change

Photography and/or basic graphic design experience a plus
