Join our dynamic team as an Outside Sales Representative specializing in Tile and Stone for both builder and residential markets! Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share within your territory, focusing on builder and residential clients.
- Prospect new business opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, networking, and leveraging CRM software to identify potential customers.
- Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, product demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Conduct detailed product presentations and demos of tile and stone materials, emphasizing technical specifications and installation benefits.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals efficiently while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Utilize sales management systems such as Salesforce or other CRM tools to track activity, forecast sales, and analyze market trends.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement targeted campaigns that support territory growth and brand awareness.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and new product offerings to stay ahead in the marketplace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management within the building materials or related industry.
- Strong management skills with a focus on business development and account management.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or equivalent sales management systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently in a remote sales environment while maintaining high motivation levels.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation, cold calling, prospecting, and closing deals.
- Technical sales experience involving product demos and upselling strategies preferred.
- Strong analysis skills to interpret market data and develop effective sales strategies.
