Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, listening carefully to their automotive needs
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts using automotive diagnostics tools and inventory management systems
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment to ensure product availability
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash and credit payments responsibly
- Provide technical advice on vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and service procedures to enhance customer satisfaction
- Maintain organized shelving, stocking parts efficiently, and ensuring a clean work environment
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, manage backorders, and optimize inventory levels
- Communicate effectively via phone etiquette with customers and team members to coordinate orders and resolve issues
- Support dealership experience by understanding specific OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and warranty procedures
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software for tracking parts requests and maintenance schedules when applicable
- Engage in marketing efforts by promoting special offers or new products to boost retail sales
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive parts sales or dealership environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair processes
- Excellent communication skills in bilingual or multilingual settings are highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate with vendors, manage stock levels, and handle cashiering responsibilities effectively
- Prior experience with automotive service or repair shops enhances understanding of customer needs
- Organizational skills with attention to detail for order processing, stocking, and inventory control tasks
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of customer service excellence
