About the position:
A growing healthcare company is seeking a reliable, responsible, and skilled Medical Assistant to provide in-home patient care throughout Boro Park and Williamsburg.
This is a traveling, on-the-road position. Applicants must have their own reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable traveling independently between patient homes in both locations.
The ideal candidate is caring, professional, detail-oriented, and confident working with pediatric and adult patients.
Expected Start Date: September 2026
Interviews and hiring will take place in advance. Candidates must be available to begin working in September.
Schedule
Full-time | Four 10-hour shifts per week
Available operating hours include:
- Sunday: Approximately 1:00 PM–11:00 PM
- Monday–Thursday: Approximately 1:00 PM–11:00 PM
- Friday: Approximately 10:00 AM–7:00 PM
Please note: The Friday shift may eventually transition to a Saturday night shift from approximately 6:00 PM–12:00 AM.
Responsibilities
- Travel to patients’ homes throughout Boro Park and Williamsburg
- Obtain and accurately document vital signs
- Perform throat and nasal swabs
- Complete urine testing, cultures, and specimen collection
- Upload accurate visit documentation
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, providers, and Dispatch
- Follow all patient-care procedures and company protocols
- Maintain a caring, calm, and professional attitude
Blood-draw experience, especially pediatric phlebotomy, is strongly preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Previous Medical Assistant experience is required
- Primary care or urgent care experience is required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Comfortable traveling throughout Boro Park and Williamsburg
- Comfortable working with children and families
- Able to complete patient visits independently
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable, punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable using a tablet, mobile applications, and digital documentation systems
- Able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
