American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring an OH or compact RN license and at least 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience.

Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a large academic hospital setting
-
May float to other units (J1-2, J33) and the ED to care for the same patient population
-
Rotating day/night shifts: days run 7:00am–7:30pm and nights run 7:00pm–7:30am

Shifts are 3x12-hour format and may vary based on operational needs of the facility

13-week contract

Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry (may be across multiple locations)

Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required (travel experience is acceptable)

A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are administered during orientation; a passing score on both is required

Must be available to work at least every other holiday

Travelers may not work more than 18 consecutive months across any Cleveland Clinic locations, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
