CDL Driver – Omaha (Overnight Routes)
Please Note: This is a full-time, in-person role based out of the Omaha area. Employment with Intermountain Wood Products is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and maintaining a clean driving record.
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | $29.00–$31.00 per hour (DOE) Occasional overnight routes required
About the Role

As a CDL Driver based in Omaha, you’ll play a key role in delivering hardwood products to customers in Wichita, KS and surrounding areas. This position combines professional driving, customer interaction, and hands-on warehouse support, with the potential for up to one overnight route per week.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver & Transport Materials: Safely load, secure, and deliver materials using flatbed, curtain-side trucks, and/or trailers. Communicate with customers ahead of delivery to confirm schedules and ensure expectations are met.
- Overnight Routes: Complete occasional overnight deliveries (up to two per week) to Wichita, KS as needed.
- Warehouse Support: Assist with forklift operation, preparing orders for delivery, and helping will-call customers when not on delivery routes.
- Operate with Safety & Professionalism: Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards, maintain clean equipment, and represent Intermountain Wood Products with professionalism at every stop.
What You’ll Bring
- Licensing & Eligibility: Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Class A CDL, no manual transmission restrictions, and a minimum of two years of clean driving history with at least one year of commercial driving experience.
- Experience: Forklift and warehouse experience is helpful but not required. Prior experience in a lumber yard or hardwood environment is a plus. Strong customer service skills are highly valued.
- Mindset: Safety-focused, dependable, physically capable, and customer-oriented, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn routes and product knowledge.
- Compliance: Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
