Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring the bar operates smoothly. Duties
- Assist bartenders with drink preparation, including stocking supplies and garnishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Ensure that all necessary supplies are readily available for bartenders during busy shifts.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with guests and ensuring their needs are met.
- Support the setup and breakdown of bar areas for events, including banquets and catering services.
- Operate the POS system for order entry when needed, ensuring accurate cash handling.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with nightclub environments or catering events is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques can enhance performance in this role.
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience with cash handling and operating POS systems is beneficial.
