Backpack Healthcare is growing in Kentucky! We're looking for compassionate, dedicated therapists who want to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.
We provide high-quality virtual mental health services to children, adolescents, and young adults, making care more accessible to families across the state. You'll provide 15–22 telehealth sessions per week, delivering individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults throughout Kentucky.
Most clinicians see clients during weekday afternoons and evenings (2:00–9:00 PM EST), with weekend availability welcomed.
You create your schedule—we provide the referrals, administrative support, billing, and credentialing.
Conducting comprehensive behavioral health assessments
Developing individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans
Providing evidence-based individual and family therapy through secure telehealth
Collaborating with our interdisciplinary care team, including therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and care coordinators
Completing timely, accurate clinical documentation within our electronic health record (EHR)
Supporting families through education, collaboration, and coordinated care
We believe clinicians should have the opportunity to earn competitive compensation while maintaining the flexibility of part-time practice.
$50 per billable hour for independently licensed clinicians
Monthly bonus potential based on eligible clinical and performance metrics

We're seeking clinicians who have:
✔️ An active Kentucky independent license (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT)
✔️ Experience working with children, adolescents, and families—or a passion for serving this population
✔️ The ability to work independently in a virtual environment
✔️ Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
✔️ A commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care
