Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to ensure a clean and inviting space
- Manage cash handling accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for bills and payments
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- Support host/hostess duties when needed, including seating guests and managing waitlists in a busy nightclub or restaurant setting
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred, But willing to train the right candidate.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to serving guests
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and transaction accuracy
- Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus but not required
