We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Roller Shade Maker to join our production team.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut fabrics accurately
- Assemble custom roller shades according to work orders
- Install fabric onto roller tubes
- Square, hem, and inspect finished products
- Install brackets, chains, motors, and other components
- Perform quality control inspections before packaging
- Read production paperwork and follow specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards
- Work collaboratively with the production team
Qualifications
- Experience manufacturing roller shades or window treatments required
- Experience with measuring and cutting fabric accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read measurements and work orders
- Comfortable using hand tools and production equipment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred Experience
- Motorized shade assembly (Somfy, Lutron, etc.)
- Commercial window treatment manufacturing
- Sewing or upholstery experience
- General manufacturing or fabrication experience
