Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily landscape maintenance operations, including turf management, planting, fertilization, and pest control to ensure optimal course conditions.
- Supervise and mentor maintenance staff, providing guidance on landscaping techniques, safety procedures, and operational best practices.
- Coordinate irrigation systems installation, repair, and scheduling to maintain healthy turf and landscape beds.
- Lead projects related to construction, tree care, drainage improvements, and other course enhancements with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of greens, fairways, roughs, and surrounding landscapes to identify issues and implement timely solutions.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules to ensure all tools and machinery operate efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with the superintendent on budgeting, planning, and implementing sustainable landscaping practices that promote environmental stewardship.
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or landscaping within a golf course or similar outdoor environment.
- Supervising experience leading teams of maintenance or groundskeeping personnel.
- Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques including fertilization, aeration, overseeding, and pest management.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and scheduling.
- Hands-on experience with construction projects such as bunker renovation or drainage improvements.
- Knowledge of tree care practices including pruning and health assessments.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
