As a Warehouse Supervisor a for our Civil District, you will contribute to our team by:
- Direct and oversee daily warehouse and yard operations.
- Manage receiving, inspection, storage, issuance, transfer, and shipment of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee physical inventories.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage methods to maximize efficiency and space utilization.
- Ensure proper material preservation, handling, and storage requirements are met.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate stock to support operational requirements.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Track material movement and asset utilization through inventory management systems.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance, repair, certification, and replacement activities.
- Supervise warehouse personnel, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and safety-focused work environment.
- Establish performance expectations and ensure accountability across the team.
- Support employee development and succession planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety programs.
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse facilities, equipment, and operations.
- Promote continuous improvement and adherence to safe work practices.
- Coordinate with project teams, procurement, logistics, and operations personnel to support material and equipment requirements.
- Forecast warehouse space and equipment needs.
- Develop and implement procedures that improve efficiency, accuracy, and cost control.
Physical Requirements include:
- Legible handwriting
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks with minimal direct supervision
Additional experience is preferred, but can be trained:
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Bilingual preferred
- Forklift operator
Hourly Rate $30- $35 depending on experience.
