Based onsite near Los Angeles, this assignment offers the chance to collaborate with K-12 learners across a dynamic range of schools in the San Fernando Valley for the 2026-2027 academic year, starting August 11th and concluding June 4th. Each assignment varies between school locations, including itinerant positions, ensuring a lively and engaging work environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in California
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Direct experience supporting K-12 students preferred
- Familiarity with educational terminology, the IEP process, and standardized assessments within school-based practice
- Understanding of the Special Education process and requirements for OT in academic settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Self-motivation; ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based OT services tailored to each student’s needs across varying caseloads
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support and document IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative services on-site at assigned schools
- Complete timely documentation according to district and state guidelines
- Maintain ongoing communication with families, educators, and administrators
