Business Account Manager, Wayfair Professional
The base salary range for this role is $32,400–$42,000, depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, with on-target earnings of $95,000–$110,000 (base + commission) and additional upside for overperformance.
Location: This position is fully remote within the U.S., with approximately 10% travel for trade shows and training.

As a Business Account Manager (BAM), you’ll own a portfolio of B2B customers within a dedicated industry vertical (for example, Office, Property Management, Construction, Interior Design, or Accommodations) and act as their primary partner for furniture, fixtures, and décor.
This is a full-cycle sales role where you’ll combine proactive outreach, data-driven pipeline management, and consultative selling to grow revenue and deepen long-term relationships.
You’ll collaborate closely with Design, Service, and Large Project Solutions to deliver tailored, end-to-end solutions on complex projects—giving you a clear, differentiated value proposition and plenty of opportunity to win and grow accounts.
Own and grow a portfolio of high-value B2B accounts within a specific industry vertical, balancing new, active, and dormant customers.
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets across your book of business.
Run proactive outreach (calls, emails, virtual meetings) to build relationships, uncover opportunities, and expand share of wallet.
Lead consultative discovery to understand customer goals and position Wayfair’s full value proposition—assortment, design support, project management, and tailored solutions.
Partner with internal teams (Service, Design, Large Project Solutions, and others) to coordinate complex orders and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Use Salesforce, Looker, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to manage your pipeline, forecast accurately, and prioritize the highest-impact activities.
Respond quickly to customer needs, resolve issues with a solution-oriented mindset, and represent Wayfair with professionalism and integrity.
Serve as a subject matter expert on Wayfair Professional’s offerings and capabilities, using your industry knowledge to advise customers and deliver value-added solutions.
3+ years of outbound sales experience with a strong record of hitting or exceeding KPIs and revenue targets.
3+ years managing a book of business; B2B experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success in using pipeline management to reach sales objectives, along with a deep comprehension of sales processes and a proven capacity to identify business buying cycles.
Comfort in a fast-paced, high-growth environment—you take ownership of your performance and adapt quickly as goals evolve.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to build rapport and influence decision-makers and internal partners.
Strong proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel), and virtual collaboration tools; experience with AI tools is a plus.
Ability to work fully remotely within the U.S., with willingness to travel ~10% for trade shows and training.
