Job Summary
Lead and support the sanitation team in accomplishing their assigned duties.
Pre Requisites:
Min. 2 years experience in food manufacturing/or min.1 year experience at Gourmet Boutique
Organized & a Self Motivator
Basic computer skills
Good problem solving and math skills
Some technical knowledge related to standard sanitation equipment and connections
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to twist body and periodically bend and crawl over/under machinery
Ability to work in a wet environment
Ability to work a six-day work week during the night shift.
General Responsibilities:
Professionally coordinate and direct the work assigned to Sanitation Associates
Ensure the proper equipment is available and in good working condition
Write work orders for equipment repair as necessary
Follow all Sanitation Operation Procedures correctly and ensure Sanitation Associates are following the correct procedures
Train new employees in correct procedures
Identify potential safety hazards, offer solutions
Assist Sanitation Associates as needed to ensure work is completed in the required time frame
Manages and controls department’s supply inventories
Communicate daily with Supervisor/Manager on work status
Perform any associate job as required or needed
Follow all Procedures, GMP’s and Personal Safety Requirements outlined in position SOP’s
Follow all company guidelines set forth in the Employee Orientation Package
Special projects, as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
