Physician’s Services Group (PSG) is expanding in Walterboro, South Carolina and seeking a Full-Time Physician (MD or DO) to join our growing Post-Acute Care team.

Salary: $250,000 – $270,000 annually

What You’ll Do
Provide direct patient care including new admissions, follow-ups, and scheduled Medicare visits.
Manage chronic and acute treatment plans within skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings.
Lead and supervise Nurse Practitioners and Medical Assistants on-site.
Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity of care.
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility guidelines.
Accurately document patient encounters and complete billing utilizing EMR systems and appropriate E/M coding.
Actively work to reduce hospitalizations and improve patient outcomes through preventative and proactive care.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree required.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or related Primary Care specialty.
Active South Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain).
Active DEA and DHEC credentials.
Strong clinical decision-making and leadership abilities.
Experience in post-acute care, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), geriatrics, hospital medicine, or primary care strongly preferred.
EMR documentation and coding experience preferred.
Passion for improving care delivery within the post-acute setting.

Monday to Friday
6–8 hour shifts
No nights or weekends
