NOW HIRING | PART-TIME RESTAURANT MANAGER
We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Part-Time Restaurant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who enjoys hospitality, works well with both staff and guests, and can help maintain smooth day-to-day restaurant operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee front-of-house operations during assigned shifts
- Lead, support, and motivate the service team
- Ensure guests receive friendly, attentive, and professional service
- Manage reservations, seating, and overall flow of service
- Monitor staff performance and address issues professionally
- Create staff schedule and shift coverage when needed
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities
- Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed properly
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Monitor food and beverage quality and presentation
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar teams
- Assist with inventory and ordering as needed
- Monitor cash handling, POS transactions, comps, and voids
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Ensure staff follows company policies and food safety procedures
- Help train and develop new and existing team members
- Take initiative and assist wherever needed during busy service
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Strong understanding of hospitality and guest service
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of sushi and Japanese cuisine is a plus
- Knowledge of beer, wine, sake, and cocktails is also a plus
