CEPCO Management Inc. is a family-owned property management company overseeing apartment and townhome communities throughout Minnesota. We take pride in maintaining safe, high-quality living environments for our residents and are seeking a reliable, skilled part time Maintenance Technician to support our team on a contract, as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete a variety of work orders, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, drywall, painting, appliances, and general maintenance
- Perform routine inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed to complete repairs
- Assist Site Managers with coordinating and overseeing third-party contractors
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe work environment
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests
- Support unit turnovers, including repairs, painting, and general preparation
- Be available for occasional after-hours or emergency maintenance calls
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive resident relations
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance systems
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic leadership skills and the ability to supervise vendors or assistants when needed
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Must be able to pass a background check
