Newtown Dentistry is a comprehensive, multi-specialty dental group offering pediatric, orthodontic, and general dentistry services to the Newtown community. The practice is committed to creating a true “dental home” for patients of all ages, with a strong focus on preventative care, patient education, and long-term oral health.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Oral Surgeon to join our growing team on a part-time basis (2–4 days per week). This role offers the opportunity to work within a well-established, multi-specialty practice with a steady referral base and strong clinical support.

Responsibilities:

Perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including:

Tooth extractions (including impacted third molars)

Dental implant placement and restoration coordination

Bone grafting and ridge preservation

Surgical exposure of impacted teeth

Treatment of oral pathology and infections

Collaborate closely with general dentists, pediatric dentists, and orthodontists within the practice

Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care and education
-
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Deliver an exceptional patient experience with a focus on comfort and quality outcomes
Qualifications:

DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school

Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
-
Active Pennsylvania dental license (or eligibility for licensure)

Current DEA registration and CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

Board-certified or board-eligible (preferred)

Experience with implant placement and IV sedation strongly preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
