,Town Engineer
The Town of Holliston is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Town Engineer. Under the supervision of the DPW Director and Town Manager, the Town Engineer provides professional engineering, technical, and administrative support for the Town’s public works infrastructure, and stormwater management programs.
The Town Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and permits, including the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit and related stormwater regulations. The position supports the planning, design, permitting, construction, and oversight of road, water, sewer, drainage, and other municipal infrastructure projects.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, along with five (5) years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience in a municipal or public works environment. A current Massachusetts Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official (MCPPO) certification is preferred, or the ability to obtain it within two (2) years of hire. A valid driver’s license is required.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), benefit-eligible position classified as Grade M3. The anticipated hiring salary range is $99,804–$109,156.
