Responsibilities
- Prepare food items accurately and efficiently according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders, handle cash transactions, and manage retail sales.
- Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries with enthusiasm.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including food prep areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment.
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations to ensure quality and safety.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities.
- Process cash register operations accurately while balancing cash drawers at shift end.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
- Support team members during busy periods by multitasking between food prep, order taking, and customer service duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong food preparation skills with an understanding of food safety standards.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for cash handling and sales transactions.
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, cashiering, and sanitation practices.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and maintaining a clean workspace is desirable.
- Retail or grocery store experience can be beneficial but is not required.
