Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders, sales transactions, and cash handling
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment to ensure food safety and sanitation compliance
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing trays, and supporting overall restaurant sanitation efforts
- Process cash transactions accurately while handling cash register operations and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Support food safety management by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred, especially in food preparation or cashier roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory counts
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Previous retail or café experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
