Position Details
- Title: Caregiver Float
- Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
- Guaranteed Hours: 20 hours per week
- Mileage Reimbursement: $0.50 per mile for any travel exceeding 20 miles
Role Overview
As a Caregiver Float, you will play a vital and flexible role within our team. This position is
designed to support new and existing client cases, ensure continuity of care, and assist with
caregiver training in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Start new client cases and ensure a smooth transition of care
- Train and support incoming caregivers on assigned cases
- Provide hands-on training in the field as needed
- Fill open shifts and provide coverage where needed
- Maintain communication with office staff regarding client needs and updates
On-Call & Scheduling Expectations
- On-call Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Every other weekend is included as part of your on-call rotation
- Weekly schedules for known open visits will be provided each Wednesday for the
following week
- You are expected to remain available during all scheduled on-call hours, even if not actively
assigned to a visit
Shift Coverage Expectations
- If a client shift begins during your on-call hours, you are expected to complete the full shift,
even if it extends beyond your scheduled hours
- Flexibility is required, as shift lengths and times may vary depending on client needs
