About the Role
As a Furniture Restoration Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our inventory meets the highest quality standards. You will focus on restoring case goods, leather, and upholstery to pristine condition, utilizing your expertise in wood refinishing and mechanical repair to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities-
Restore damaged furniture surfaces, including wood refinishing and minor structural rebuilds.

Execute upholstery repairs and replace mechanical components to restore full functionality.

Operate spray booths and specialized tools to achieve professional-grade finishes.

Inspect incoming inventory to determine repair feasibility and prioritize restoration workflows.

Document recurring damage patterns to help improve quality control and logistics processes.

Maintain a clean, organized workshop and ensure all tools are properly serviced.

Collaborate with warehouse teams to provide guidance on minor touch-up techniques.

Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines while handling materials.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in furniture repair, including upholstery and wood refinishing.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess damage and determine efficient repair methods.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.

Proficiency in MS Office and experience with inventory management software.
