Job Duties:
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year's cooking experience in a healthcare or industrial setting. Will be flexible, compassionate and creative. Will have a current food handlers’ certification and the ability to pass a criminal history check. We will train the right person
Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus
Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
Prepare food for therapeutic diets in accordance with planned menus
Prepare and serve bedtime snacks
Be sure that appropriate equipment and utensils are provided with resident’s meal tray
Prepare and serve substitute foods to residents who refuse foods served
Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established policies
