The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the nightly operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, guest services, and security procedures during the overnight shift. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the hotel's reputation for exceptional guest experiences and upholding operational standards while providing support to guests during non-traditional hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations, night audit, or customer service roles preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Proficiency in computer systems and hotel management software, including hotel management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the hotel property for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment, computers, and other tools.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Visual acuity to read documents, analyze reports, and use computer screens.
- Auditory ability to communicate with guests and colleagues in person and over the phone.
- Stamina to work long hours and handle stressful situations effectively.
