Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking part time cook in delivering quality food service and customer satisfaction. Must have cook experience and SERV SAFE Certificate.
Duties Include:
- preparation, cooking, and service of all planned meals
- managing meal / tray line service
- general cleaning kitchen schedules
- compliance with resident Diet Orders
- open communication with RDs
Requirements:
- Certification in healthcare cooking (ServSafe)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in large-scale cooking (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of large scale & therapeutic food prep
- Must be able to do some physical work
- Strong leadership skills and a team player
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
