Rooney Printing is looking for a motivated and dependable Bindery & Finishing Operator to join our production team. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!
As a Bindery & Finishing Operator, you'll play a key role in transforming printed materials into high-quality finished products. You'll be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining bindery equipment while ensuring every job meets our quality standards.
Essential Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain assigned bindery equipment.
- Read and interpret job tickets and production instructions.
- Produce high-quality work while meeting or exceeding production goals.
- Maintain accurate production counts and documentation.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Organize and move scheduled work for assigned machinery.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous bindery experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
