Job Overview
We're looking for both part time and full time associates to join our small gift shops in stores primarily during weekday shifts. We're flexible to work with your schedule. At Made in TN, we curate the best locally created goods and gifts. We operate 4 gift shops and we're all about bringing Southern hospitality to our guests! If you’re someone who enjoys talking with people, helping others, and bringing a smile to every day, we need you! No retail experience? No worries. We’ll teach you everything you need to know.
Duties
- Greet customers with a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Help customers find gifts and make product recommendations
- Operate our iPad point-of-sale system to process purchases
- Open and close the store independently
- Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Restock merchandise and maintain attractive displays
- Answer customer questions and provide excellent service
- Work as part of a team to create a positive shopping experience
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and enjoys talking with people
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Service-focused with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to communicate clearly in English
- Comfortable using an iPad and learning new technology
- Detail-oriented and takes pride in keeping the store clean and organized
- At least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work at multiple Made in TN store locations in the Nashville area
- Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
