Overview
We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our casual dining establishment. As the face of our restaurant, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including kitchen management and staff supervision.
- Oversee food preparation, quality control, and presentation to ensure a high-quality dining experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage cash handling and point-of-sale systems, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
- Coordinate shift management, including scheduling and staff coverage.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall restaurant experience.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, ensuring that staff are well-trained and motivated.
- Collaborate with the management team to set goals and objectives for the restaurant, and track progress towards these goals.
- Monitor and maintain inventory, ordering supplies and materials as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and ensure that the restaurant is well-positioned to meet changing customer preferences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management and food preparation.
- Ability to manage cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
- Experience in casual dining and quick service environments.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Familiarity with food industry regulations and health and safety standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Experience with coffee service and coffee shop management.
- Strong understanding of kitchen management and food preparation.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,825.00 - $55,000.00 per year
