As we continue to grow our foodservice and wholesale presence, we are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial sales professional to help us expand our reach across the Denver and Colorado Springs markets.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a true hunter role. You will inherit an existing book of business to manage and maintain — but the core focus is building new business. We’re looking for someone who gets energized by the challenge of researching prospects, making cold calls, and turning a “no” into a long-term customer relationship.
Your territory is the Southern Denver metro and Colorado Springs markets. Your targets are restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, catering operations, and institutional foodservice accounts. You’ll have the backing of a well-known brand, a quality product, and a team that supports your success — but the drive to go find the business has to come from you. This position will office from and be based out of the Denver Branch.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Prospect and cold call businesses across the Front Range to identify and convert new foodservice and wholesale accounts
- Research target companies, build contact lists, and develop territory strategies to maximize new account generation
- Conduct in-person meetings, product/price presentations, when needed and move prospects through the sales cycle
- Manage and grow the Denver and Colorado Springs territories with regular in-market presence
- Build lasting relationships with new customers to ensure strong onboarding and long-term retention
- Coordinate with internal operations, distribution, and logistics teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Track activity and account status using CRM tools and provide regular territory updates
- Represent Royal Crest Dairy with professionalism at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of outside sales, business development, or account management experience — foodservice, dairy, beverage, or distribution experience strongly preferred
- A proven track record of generating new business from scratch, not just managing existing accounts
- Comfortable with cold outreach — you don’t wait for leads to come to you
- Strong communication and presentation skills; you can walk into a busy restaurant kitchen or a hospital cafeteria and earn trust quickly
- Self-directed and organized — you manage your own schedule, prioritize well, and follow through
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within the Front Range territory
- Experience with CRM platforms is a plus
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
We believe in paying people fairly for the work they do — and in building a bonus structure that rewards the right behaviors. Here’s what this role offers:
Base Salary
$50,000–$60,000 depending on experience
Performance Bonus — Milestone-Based
Your bonus is tied to the full lifecycle of the accounts you bring on — not just closing them, but proving they stick. Bonuses are paid at account activation, at 6 months of active service, and at 12 months.
