About the Opportunity
You will oversee the daily clinical operations of a skilled nursing 50 bed private rooms unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care while supporting and coaching nursing staff. This position works closely with the interdisciplinary team to maintain excellence in clinical outcomes, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of an assigned nursing unit within the Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Review resident assessments, physician orders, and individualized care plans to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive resident care plans.
- Supervise, mentor, coach, and support nursing staff to promote professional growth and accountability.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, orientation, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary processes when appropriate.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and ensure adherence to state, federal, and facility policies and regulations.
- Address resident, family, and visitor concerns professionally and work toward timely resolution.
- Promote a positive, resident-centered culture focused on quality care and exceptional customer service.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety standards, emergency preparedness, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities as part of the nursing leadership team.
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nursing staff while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications
Required:
- Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) setting.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing management or leadership experience within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) environment.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
- Demonstrated success leading clinical teams and improving quality outcomes.
- Strong understanding of survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
