1) Special Inspector
WPES is seeking an experienced special inspectors for full-time non-exempt hourly to salaried employment. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized and has a strong desire to work at a high level of accuracy. We offer a professional environment to expand skill sets into other areas of development.
· Quality Assurance & report preparations
· Reinforced concrete
· Structural masonry
· Structural steel and bolting
· Soils inspections
· Geotechnical
· Concrete strength testing
· Aggregate testing
· Compaction testing
2) Technician
WPES is seeking for a beginner technician for full-time non-exempt hourly to salaried employment. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized and has a strong desire to work at a high level of accuracy. We offer a professional environment to expand skill sets into other areas of development. We offer to pay for all certifications and provide training equipment and books.
· Perform field inspections during various stages of construction.
· Read and examine plans and specifications.
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Good time management, organization, attention to detail
· Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
* Concrete Field Testing
* Soils Compaction Testing
*Laboratory soils analysis
· The work is typically performed while sitting at the desk, at the table, while standing or while walking.
· The work is typically performed in an office and outdoors, occasionally in cold or inclement weather. The employee may be occasionally exposed to machinery with moving parts.
