Service Technician
Role Summary - Vistabeam is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to provide comprehensive technical support for our suite of services. The Service Technician will be instrumental in troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting field service operations to keep production running smoothly. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
The Service Support Technician is responsible for maintaining service excellence through the following duties:
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues, focusing on internet connectivity, email clients, and VoIP systems.
- Strictly adhere to standard organizational processes and technical procedures.
- Efficiently identify and escalate priority technical issues to the appropriate departments.
- Manage customer expectations through timely follow-ups and scheduled callbacks.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all customer interactions within the internal ticketing system.
- Support field service activities by traveling to customer sites or manufacturing facilities to perform on-site repairs or installations.
- Interpret technical schematics and diagrams for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to accurately diagnose issues.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to provide technical sales support by explaining repair options or system upgrades clearly and professionally.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Independence: Self-motivated with a strong drive to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to function as a collaborative team player within the department and broader organization.
- Technical Proficiency: General experience with PC hardware and networking principles.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
While prior experience is not a prerequisite, candidates must demonstrate a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge and skills. Vistabeam provides comprehensive training for this role.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience required.
