DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Duties include, but not limited to the following:
- Assist in operations of WWTP in compliance with laws concerning operations and maintenance
- Maintain WWTP and Lift Station Equipment, buildings, and grounds
- Perform routine maintenance of all equipment and assist in repairs
- Perform and assist with instrument calibration and maintenance
- Perform assigned routine chemical and physical testing with accurate recording of results
- Perform computer-based daily/monthly record keeping
- Monitor and respond to computer based operational controls and alerts
- Accurately maintain log sheets, books, and other operational records
- Normal hours are Monday – Friday 7:30-4pm, must have availability to work overtime and report to work after hours in response to emergencies
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess Wastewater Class I License or have ability to acquire a minimum of Wastewater Class I License
- Valid driver’s license along with a good driving record; CDL preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess mechanical skills with understanding of industrial equipment and maintenance
- Ability to learn the process and chemistry of WW treatment, rules, and regulations
- Ability to work unsupervised, possess problem solving skills, multitask, be supportive of co-workers and workplace safety
