Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on arcade game hardware and software systems to ensure peak performance.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing tools such as ohmmeters and soldering equipment.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics on AC/DC electrical systems, low voltage circuits, and computer hardware components.
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to replace or repair components including circuit boards, power supplies, monitors, and control panels.
- Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to identify faults and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct field service visits for on-site repairs, upgrades, or preventative maintenance at various locations.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, parts used, and system status updates to ensure accountability and efficient workflow.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on electronic or arcade game equipment repair.
- Strong electrical diagnostics skills with knowledge of AC/DC systems, low voltage wiring, and schematic reading.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, soldering irons, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments for troubleshooting.
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and engineering troubleshooting manuals effectively.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with experience in equipment repair and maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with computer hardware setup, networking concepts, and software troubleshooting related to arcade systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; capable of working independently in field service environments.
