Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

Short-term acute care hospital setting with 418 staffed beds
Mammography unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
No weekends, on-call, or block scheduling required
No floating between units within this assignment
Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience
Epic EMR experience required
Familiarity with Hologic equipment required
Biopsy experience preferred but not required
At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
License required if applicable

Additional Information

First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
Scrubs of any color are acceptable
